Airport/Hotel Transfer: A car will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel. This transfer between the airport and the hotel in the city of Mendoza takes approximately 15 minutes.
Hotel In Mendoza: Our participants will stay for two nights at a 5-star hotel from a renowned international chain, located in the heart of Mendoza City: one night at the beginning of the expedition and one night at the end. Accommodation is single person in a room for both nights before and after the trek.
Expedition Briefing and Gear Check: On the first day of the program, our Staff Manager, accompanied by the expedition guides, will give a briefing to present the program, analyze it, and address questions participants may have. At the end of the talk, a complete gear check will be conducted, and if necessary, our guides will accompany participants to assist with renting or purchasing items.
Assistance to Obtain Permits: We assist and help our participants with all necessary procedures to acquire the entry permit to Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Transport Mendoza/Puente Del Inca-Los Puquios/Mendoza: The group has included transportation from Mendoza City to Puente del Inca (Los Puquios) at the beginning of the expedition and the return from Puente del Inca to Mendoza City at the end of it.
Meals: From the moment we depart Mendoza until our return, all meals are included. Our menu is carefully planned and prepared by our profession chefs to ensure our participants receive a balanced and sufficiently caloric diet. If you have dietary restrictions such as being vegetarian, celiac, or requiring a special diet, please inform us. Additional charges may apply for this service depending on the requested menu.
Accommodation in Penitentes: Before entering Aconcagua Provincial Park, the team will spend the night at a mountain lodge in Penitentes, a small mountain village located near the main access area to the park. This stay provides a comfortable and practical transition between Mendoza and the beginning of the expedition. Accommodation in Penitentes is in shared mountain lodge rooms, usually 4 to 8 beds per room. The lodge offers a relaxed setting for the team to rest, organize personal equipment, make final adjustments, and prepare for the first stage of the climb. Staying in Penitentes also keeps the group close to the trailhead area, making the start of the expedition more efficient and better organized.
Transfer to the Entrance of Aconcagua Park: This transfer is made from Penitentes to the entrance of the Aconcagua Park, where the park rangers will check your permit and inform you of the park rules before starting the trek.
Mules: The land operators have their mule fleet prepared to manage all logistics within the mountain. This allows us to move all personal equipment in all approach sections to the base camps. Their mules carry the participants' equipment in all approach sections to the base camps. Their mules carry the participants' equipment from the Logistics Base in Los Puquios to each base camp round trip, which also includes all approach camps. Additionally, the land operators adhere to the Control Program for the Welfare of Pack Mules of Aconcagua Provincial Park carried out by the Veterinary College of the Province of Mendoza along with the Government, to guarantee the health of all load animals in Aconcagua.
Camping at Pampa de Lena and Casa De Piedra:. The approach to Plaza Argentina includes a two-day trek through Vacas Valley, with one night at Pampa de Lena and one night at Casa de Piedra. At both campsites, clients sleep in dormitory tents, so there is no need to set up personal tents. Guides and support staff coordinate meals and general camp assistance. Starlink Wi-fi is available at both campsites. This section also introduces clients to the traditional muleteer culture of the Andes, which has been part of Aconcagua expeditions since the late 19th century and remains essential to mountain logistics today.
Plaza Argentina Base Camp: Once the group arrives at Plaza Argentina, the expedition will stay four nights at our base camp, which is fully equipped and prepared with all amenities to ensure participants stay is as comfortable as possible. The camp features dining tents, glamping-style domes for relaxation, Wi-Fi, showers, and a meticulously planned menu executed by professional chefs. Both Wi-Fi and showers are included as part of the cost of this tour (Premium Edition).
Plaza De Mulas Base Camp: After the summit ascent, the expedition descends to Plaza de Mulas, the main base camp on the Normal Route. This camp operates with the same service standards as Plaza Argentina, providing a comfortable and organized setting for clients after the climb.
Hot Showers, Wi-Fi, and Glamping Dome: at the Base camp, clients have access to hot showers, Wi-Fi, and glamping dome as part of the Premium Program. The hot showers and Wi-Fi are included in the program at no additional cost.
Carrying to High Camps: On the Polish Traverse Route, porters carry the high-altitude dome tents and all waste generated at higher camps. This helps keep clients' backpacks at a reasonable weight and supports a cleaner, more organized expedition. Clients only carry a light daypack with their daily essentials (water, snacks, an extra layer, camera, etc.). All expedition equipment, as well as their personal gear, is transported by porters throughout the expedition.
Our Guides: Our guides are professional certified by the AAGM (Argentine Association of Mountain Guides) and the EPGAMT (School of High Mountain and Trekking Guides). All of them have the experience to be among the most qualified professionals in Aconcagua, which is an essential part of our climbing philosophy. They are also trained and equipped to manage any type of emergency that may occur during the expedition. However, it should be noted that all medical decisions regarding participants are entirely the responsibility of and under the care of the Aconcagua Park Medical Service.
Extra Days: In the Polish Traverse Route, we offer a 19-day round trip program from Mendoza, which implies having the necessary amount of time to increase your chances of summit success. The program includes two additional days in case of bad weather or simply to rest if necessary.
Communications: The base camps of Plaza de Mulas, Plaza Argentina, and Confluencia have satellite internet service. Additionally, all our camps and guides are in communication via VHF radio, both to manage logistical mattes and to operate emergencies throughout the mountain. In the event of such an emergency, Aconcagua Park protocols indicate that immediate communication must be made to the Rescue Patrol and the Medical Service to proceed with the necessary actions.
Equipment and Tents: Our mountain camps are equipped with various domes of different sizes according to their functions, including glamping-style dorm domes, dining domes, leisure domes, shower domes, and domes for storing passengers' bags. In the high camps, our passengers sleep in dorm domes, with the possibility of eating in our kitchen domes. In addition, all our expedition tents are the North Face VE-25 models, which are used in base camp or at high altitudes, if necessary.
Souvenir: At the end of the expedition, each passenger will receive their summit certificate and the expedition t-shirt as a gift.
